Sending SMS to multiple clients / Search clients

It’s possible to send SMS to multiple clients using Clinic+. The SMS must be based on a SMS template that is created earlier. For info about SMS template see https://prooptics.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/kb/view/993656837?source=shareable-url

First you select the clients you wish to send to from Clients - Advanced Search. That is the search folder icon in the top right corner of the Client widget.

Search clients

In the search clients page you can filter by different type of info.

Search in Clinic / Region will decide you should include all clients that exist in other clinics you have shared client information. Example if you have another clinic in the neighbouring town.
Having activity last means to find all clients with some activity in the system in a period.
Categories allows you to mark your clients with some categories and find them here.
Gender/Status/Age - Pick clients based on these data
Reminder - Pick clients with reminders in a period
Approval - If you need to consider the approvals given by the client, use this settings to limit the result.

The search results is shown below.

If you wish to send SMS to all the clients found, click on the checkbox to the top left. This will mark all clients with X. If you wish to unmark some clients, they can be unchecked individually. When you have checked all the clients you wish to send message to, click on Send SMS.

Here you can select a SMS template and the template will be visible below. If there are variables they are shown inside [ ] brackets. Then the SMS can be sent.

The SMS sent will appear on all clients as it was when they received it.

Tip! Test the SMS on a small number of receivers first.

This tool gives you the option to send thousands of SMS and you should be really sure that the content is correct before doing so. By using the checkboxes to the left on the client search you can limit the number of clients that should receive the message. Test it on one or two clients first to see it look fine. Then you can send it to a bigger number of clients.
